Circle suggests a centre fostering a calming effect. It flows naturally. It is a symbol of completeness and integration. Flowing Art is your therapeutic space, with the containment of art therapist, to explore art and your Self, and connect to others.
Accredited with The Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA), I have been working with a wide range of population in residential homes, autism centre, and primary schools in Singapore. I am specialized in working with children with special needs, developmental disorders, psychosocial needs and/or mental health comorbidities. Moreover, I have been working with individuals who have emotional needs or interns who are seeking advice in clinical supervision.
Throughout the years, I am dedicated to nurture therapeutic gains along the therapist-client journey.
Through art psychotherapy and person-centered approaches, individuals can explore , process, and express unspeakable feelings that may be hard to put into works. Subsequently, individuals can be more easily recognise creative strategies and problem solving for more effective interaction with their internal and external environments so that this fosters resilience.
Apart from my profession, I have been creating artworks using diversified art medium such as oil painting, Chinese ink, oil pastels, soft pastels, water colour, and acrylic paints for more than a decade. Recently, I am fascinated by drawing portrait in Classical Realism Style.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
